The Golf Club Computer System has been designed to assist with the following: Detailed members records covering the following: Basic data on each member. Monthly score results towards the annual Gold Cup meeting. Records of each players history as a member. Doing monthly draws for playing and drawn four balls, sweepstakes etc. Allowing games to be scored live on computer at the golf course with automatic updating of the members annual and permanent records. If the meeting is not scored live then the annual and permanent records can be manually captured at a later time. If it is scored live then the computer will prepare all the results, prize and handicap sheets etc. Handicapping of all meeting results. Determine who is qualified for various Gold Cup competitions. Calculating the Gold Cup results including the preparation of the prize sheets. Presentation of all data regarding members ages and date of birth, games played, membership period, ties and badges due etc. Reviewing members standings to see if they have met their commitments in games played. Doing the points scoring for attending Nationals and calculating the members handicaps for Nationals. Keeping details on the golf courses played at by the local club. Preparing invoices, credit notes, debtors statements and an age analysis for members accounts (only subs invoices are done at this stage). The system also does amongst other things: Prints name and address labels Allows customised lists of members details to be drawn up Prints labels for the monthly meeting score cards Prints the playing 4 ball and drawn 4 ball score sheets for the monthly meeting if scored manually Backup and restore the computer files Put data on disks for sending to printers or to be used on other computers. Other meeting draws eg.
